If you use the upgraded link above you should get a copy of the newest version. Give it a minute to load the scripts then you ought to be good to go without any changes necessary. The material efficiency cell is what you are looking for. Change it to the percentage based on your skills and the mineral and planetary resource values will upgrade appropriately.I'm also curious why you determine value by averaging the buy price, sell price, and cheapest cost?
I am averaging the sell and lowest market since on average the sell column appears to be inflated and so the typical appears to give more accurate results. Obviously these are all estimates and your mileage may vary based upon the local market in your area. I will continue to keep an eye on the prices and fix the calculations when there seems to be greater pattern.
Is it possible to create some kind of filter here to drop from calculation ores that I don't have broad access to? For instance, if I cant constantly mine pyroxeres, discard it in the sheet and then count only on additional ores while calculating m3 efficiency.Ooo that is actually a fantastic idea, I can not promise anything but I will certainly look into that!
I would also include the Eve Lowest Sell price. The market is quite competitive and items generally do not sell at the Eve-Echoes-Market cost. Also some things have a 3-4 hour window until they are upgraded. Since the sector is quite volatile it makes for list the correct prices difficult without having to open the industry page to look at the present competitive selling price.
I'm using the average of this market and lowest sell columns since this seems to give the best overall results. The issue with just taking the cheapest sell is that it makes it easy for one person to try to steer the marketplace by selling just one item with a very low price. Keep in mind that this tool is only going to give you quotes and you need to verify pricing before making conclusions. I will continue to keep an eye on the prices and adjust the weights if items seem not to be working well.
